New members are accepted at the start of every fall semester as engineering, design, or product fellows. The Fellowship application is only open to freshmen and sophomores.
All majors are welcome and no experience is required to apply; however, success will come to those with an interest and passion to build products as innovative solutions to problems in society.
Membership in TPEO will give you the skills and experience you need to build tech products that change the world and requires a high time commitment because of our educational curriculum, project assignments, and intense, hands-on learning experience. Non-members are free to sit in on our education curriculum, just know that we go fast.
TPEO Fellows are immersed in a rigorous, semester-long bootcamp teaching the practical and fundamental skills of engineering, design, and product through a fast-paced curriculum and an assigned software project where fellows will work on small, cross-functional teams to deliver a technology product that solves problems in the Austin community(i.e. Dell Medical School, UT Student Government, and more).
Fellows are given close mentorship, practical skills, tech knowledge, incredible opportunities to work with local startups and Austin institutions, and a tight-knit community of friends 🌈.

<aside> 🖌 Learn how to design software user experiences by conducting user research, using information architecture, and understanding human computer interaction. Also, learn to visually design user interfaces with motion design, visual design, interaction design, typography, and color in prototypes, wireframes, and mockups.
